Veneers

Chips, stains, small gaps and uneven edges disappear under veneers — slim facings bonded to the front of your teeth, matched so precisely that even you will forget which teeth they are.

Overview

Understanding veneers

A veneer is a thin facing — 0.3 to 0.7 mm, roughly a contact lens' thickness — bonded to the front surface of a tooth to correct its colour, shape, length or minor position. Veneers are the instrument of choice for discoloured teeth that don't respond to whitening, chipped or worn edges, small gaps, and teeth that are slightly rotated or undersized.

We offer two families. Composite veneers are sculpted directly on your teeth in a single visit by hand — economical, repairable, and excellent for younger patients or single-tooth fixes; they serve 4–7 years before needing refresh. Porcelain (e-max lithium disilicate) veneers are crafted in a lab from your digital scan, offer superior translucency and stain resistance, and routinely last 10–15 years. Dr. Anuj will tell you honestly which your case deserves — sometimes the answer is 'whitening first, veneers on fewer teeth, or none at all'.

Preparation is conservative: a fraction of enamel is polished to make room so the veneer sits flush rather than bulky. Between visits for porcelain cases you wear neat temporaries, and final bonding uses light-cured resin cements that make the veneer and tooth effectively one unit.

Why patients choose it

The case for veneers

Dramatic change, minimal drilling

Only 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel is adjusted — a fraction of what a crown requires.

Stain-proof brilliance

Porcelain does not pick up tea, coffee or turmeric stains the way natural enamel does.

Single-visit option

Composite veneers transform chipped or gappy front teeth in one appointment.

Custom-matched artistry

Shade, translucency and surface texture are layered to match neighbouring teeth — not painted-on white.

Strengthens worn edges

Bonded ceramic restores length and protects thin, chipping enamel from further wear.

Predictable longevity

e-max porcelain veneers show survival rates above 90% at 10 years in clinical studies.

What happens, step by step

Your treatment journey

No mystery, no mid-treatment surprises — this is the exact sequence we will walk you through at your consultation.

01

Consultation & mock-up

We photograph, scan and design the new shapes, then preview them on your teeth in temporary resin so you approve the look first.

02

Conservative preparation

A whisper of enamel (0.3–0.7 mm) is polished under local anaesthesia; a precision digital impression goes to the ceramist.

03

Temporaries

For porcelain cases you leave with well-shaped temporaries — a rehearsal of the final result while the lab layers your ceramics.

04

Try-in & bonding

Each veneer is tried with neutral paste, approved by you in a mirror and daylight, then bonded permanently with light-cured cement.

05

Polish & protect

Margins are polished, bite balanced, and a night guard is advised if you grind — the single best insurance for veneer longevity.
