Children are not small adults, and children's dentistry is not just smaller instruments. Milk teeth guide the jaws' growth and hold space for permanent teeth — losing them early to decay causes crowding problems that cost far more to fix at fourteen than to prevent at four. Our paediatric care covers the full arc: first dental visits (we recommend one by the first birthday), fluoride applications, pit-and-fissure sealants, fillings for milk teeth, pulpectomy (the milk-tooth version of a root canal), space maintainers, and habit-breaking appliances for thumb-sucking and tongue-thrusting.

Technique matters as much as treatment. We use tell-show-do — every instrument is introduced as a friendly character before it goes anywhere near the mouth — appointments are booked in relaxed morning slots when children are fresh, and no child is ever pinned down or rushed through. Parents stay in the room. Most 'dental fear' in adults traces to one bad childhood visit; our job is to make sure that visit never happens.

Prevention is the real product. Sealants on the chewing surfaces of new molars cut decay risk in those grooves by up to 80%; six-monthly fluoride varnish hardens young enamel; and every visit includes brushing coaching pitched at the child, plus honest snack-and-sipper counselling pitched at the parent.
